The ICT Department has three fully equipped IT Suites including our latest state of the art suite which includes video conferencing facilities and interactive whiteboard. In addition, computers are available for students use in the Resources Centre and many departments have their own computer facilities.
Staff involved in teaching ICT come from a wide varity of subject areas, giving the delivery of the subject a varied and relevant interest. As well as dedicated ICT lessons in all years, students use computers in most of their other subjects and a ICT across the Curriculum programme is being developed.
At Key Stage 3, students follow the National Strategy and study a wide variety of ICT applications. At Key Stage 4, all students follow a course of study in ICT and take the GCSE Short Course.
