Remote Access Page presented when clicking on globe to connect within school
When clicking on the globe to connect within schools, sometimes the Cambridgeshire Schools Remote Access Portal (SSL Explorer) page is displayed. This problem occurs when the proxy settings on the browser are not configured as advised.
To correct this issue:
1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer
2. Click Tools then Internet Options
3. Click on the Connections Tab
4. Click LAN Settings
5. The settings should read as below:
- Automatically detect settings: Unticked
- Use automatic configuration script: Ticked, Address: http://proxy.cambsed.net/staff.pac
- Use a proxy server for your LAN: Unticked
This should correct this issue.
