Print options missing in central hosting
If some printer device specific options are required for one or more printers, such as PIN prompt for colour printout, they the second print dialog needs to be enabled, the following should work in the majority of cases:
- Log into Central Hosting.
- Go to Start > Printers and Faxes.
- Highlight the required printer.
- Click File > Printing Preferences...
- Click the Extended Options tab.
- Check the Display a second print dialog on the local client machine box.
In some instances the method below can be preferable:
- Log out of Central Hosting.
- Go to Start > Control Panel.
- Double-click ScrewDrivers Client v4.
- Click the Printer UI- Extended tab*.
- Highlight the required printer.
- Check the Display Second Print Dialog box.
- Click Apply.
- Click the Printers tab.
- Click Query Printers.
- Click OK.
- Log back into Central Hosting.
* If the Printer UI- Extended tab is missing then please do the following first:
- Log out of Central Hosting.
- Go to Start > Control Panel.
- Click on Add or Remove Programs.
- Remove Screwdrivers Client or TriCerat Screwdrivers Client.
- Install the latest Screwdrivers Client, by clicking here.
- Go back to the method above.
